Meditation is the active process of encouraging stillness in the mind. Studies have shown that anxiety levels can be reduced effectively which also has a remarkable healing effect on the physical body.
I’ve always been keen to keep meditation as part of my hatha yoga practice and would recommend the book “Free the Body Free the Mind” by Michael Stone.
I teach different meditation techniques on the retreats here in Dahab, some based on Raja Yoga meditations. My work in LA with Brahma Kumaris member (Ros Gentle) on a Raja Yoga Course for Actors was highly inspirational.
